Tips for working with your bangs -- not fighting them!

New bangs? Not sure how to best style them?
These tips will help you to learn how to handle your bangs!

Blunt Bangs-
When styling sexy blunt bangs, we don't want to use a round brush like we are normally taught, because this is going to give our bangs a "bubble" effect which is not as fresh or modern. Instead what you want to do is actually even simpler! Just use your fingers to separate the hair as you blow downward with a blowdryer. Always remember to aim the blowdryer in the direction in which you want the hair to pull towards to prevent frizzies and flyaways. It is reccomended that you use the wide nozzel attatchment on the blowdryer when blowing directly overhead, the wide nozzel distributes the hot air more evenly than the circular nozzel.

Side Swept Bangs-
The key to side swept bangs is as simple as using a paddle brush. We reccomend an iTech Paddle brush. Taking the bang section and brushing it towards the opposite direction of your part, blow section dry and repeat until completely dry. Simply brush the bangs back towards the normal direction of your part. This should ensure that they lie smoothly, but still have some body. This will keep them from looking like they are slicked to your forehead!

Hope these tips have been helpful!
